Your first furniture

 I bought a crib for you when you are just above 20 days old. Here's how it look like in picture:-

The main reason for this crib is your safety, if you roll over; then there's no chance of getting hurt by falling from bed. Separate sleeping arrangement also make sure that you will not get hurt accidentally by your parents in the middle of sleep. 

But there is another reason, I wanted for you to have the practice of sleeping alone from the very beginning. So that you does not get afraid of sleeping alone in a dark room when you grow up. I wanted you to become a courageous kid from very early age.

Why I named you Muhammad

O my son, according to our tradition, I did your aqeeqah on 6th January, 2019; 7th day of your life in this earth and named you Muhammad Bin Kawnayeen. We had also shaved your head, weight your hair and donated the same amount in price of sliver. Just to mention, your hair weight 1.8 gram.

By the time you are reading this blog post, you should have and must have know that the name of our messenger, the best man to walk on this earth, the leader of the children of Adam in this world and hereafter is Muhammad, may the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him. And to fulfil our belief in religion, one must need to love messenger of Allah; above himself and his family. That is why, in 2014; I've decided that if Allah blessed me with a son, I must name him Muhammad. And Allah blessed me with you at the very end of 2018.


So, in this world and in the hereafter, you are Muhammad, son of Kawnayeen, son of Badrul Islam, son of Azizur Rahman, son of Danesh Munshi. You are inheriting the physical and psychological attributes of your forefather, which will have heavy impact on how you are going to think, how you are going to perform. Always pray for the best to Allah for your forefather, speak good about them and try to emulate their good attributes and try to avoid their bad attributes.

Your first check up with physician

O my son, your first appointment with child specialist was when you were 11 days old.

What happened was your umbilical cord dropped prematurely, when you were around 7 days old. As a result, it appeared to us that you have infection in your navel.

We did anti-biogram test from your umbilical swab specimen. The result turned out to be good. It was a great relief for us.

On advice of doctor, we used viodin ointment at your infected area. The infection gradually reduced over the period. You totally cured from this on 24th February, 2019. Doctor did a chemical cautery using copper sulphate on your navel and everything was fine after that.

What are we going to feed you? - biggest worry of first week

O my son, I believe you understand little bit by just reading the title.

All mammal are breastfeeder in their early days. In fact babies are born with the instincts that cause them to suck. And you were no different than other babies.

But as you born via a c-section delivery, as a side effect, you were not getting enough milk. And we already started feeding you formula milk. On the very first night, we bought Biomil 1 for you. Later I bought Lactogen 1 for you.

As you were not getting enough milk when tried breastfeeding, you eventually gave up the natural instincts of sucking. But we kept trying for breastfeeding, trying different ways and mostly praying to Allah for help.

Eventually, on 4th January, 2019, during noon time; you sucked for longer duration. And within few days you were totally on breast milk.

And our biggest worry gone. All thanks belong to Allah.

From Hospital to Home

O my son, by now you already know that you were born at HITECH MULTICARE HOSPITAL on 30th December, 2018. Your doctor released you and your mother on evening of 1st January as our home is very near to the hospital.

Once all the clearance was done, we left the hospital. I took you on the lap, hold you very carefully and walk from the Hospital to our home. As I've already mentioned that it was very near, only 2 minutes walking distance between hospital and home.

When I reached our home, the first person notice us was a young man name Johir, who was working as security guard of our building. He come forward with a smile on his face and asked, "Sir, is this your son!!!". I replied, "Yes"

Once we reached our building, we were waiting at the parking space for your mom. She with her parents came in a CNG. She wanted that all three of us (i.e. you, me and ...) will enter home together. Once your mom reached, we entered our home together.

Right now, we (i.e. you and me) are in separation for some unavoidable reason. For every single moment, I want to see you, I want to spend time with you. Hope this situation will not go long.

Anyway, I hope, I will be able show you the exact same path, I walked with little you on my lap to take you at our home.

May Allah keep you in good status and May Allah united us soon.
